Good Morning !! And welcome to another magnificent Monday!! :-) I wonder how many of you out there think at this stage, if your reading this and Know me, that I may have finally lost my marbles at this stage??
Its a sad fact that most of us working in this day and age very rarely feel this way about life and work and Monday mornings, it tends to be more of the opposite i.e. "I cant believe it's Monday already, what happened to the week end (by the way this thought tends to come from the fact that were to P&$$1d to remember anything of the week end).
Many of feel that situations and circumstances dictate how we feel and that we have very little choice about how to feel with regards to life, and I agree that situations, events and circumstances can INVITE us to feel a certain way but ultimately we do have the Response-ability, the ability to respond in how we behave and feel with regards to situations etc. After all your not a robot are you?? To leave you with something to think about today here is a well known story:
There is an old cherokee story about a tribal elder who is teaching his grandson about life.
" A fight is going on inside me', he said to the boy. "It is a terrible fight and it is between to wolves".
"One is evil - he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed arrogance and self pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies false pride, superiority and ego."
"The other is good - he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith".
"Thi same fight is going on inside you - and inside every other person, too".
The grndson thought about this for a minute and then asked his grandfather, "Which wolf will win?"
The old cherokee simply smiled and replied, "The one you feed".
If you would like some help on getting food for the wolf that is good please feel free to contact me and I will be more than happy to give you a free Coaching session for one and half hours.
Till next time - To your highest and best Jon
